Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO)

About the role

The Group Chief Financial Officer will steer the financial strategy, performance, and governance of a diversified Insurance & Investments Group. Reporting to the Group CEO and sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, the CFO will act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group’s overall financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Oversee finance across subsidiaries, business units, joint ventures, and investment entities, ensuring robust governance.
• Drive profitability, balance‑sheet strength, cash‑flow management, and capital allocation.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and financial scenario analysis.
• Provide executive oversight of insurance finance, monitoring premiums, claims, reserves, and underwriting results.
• Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, claims, and risk teams to assess financial exposures.
• Support investment and asset‑management finance at the Group level.

Required profile

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience in insurance, investment management, asset management, or regulated financial institutions.
• Proven track record of strategic financial planning, capital management, and governance.
• Strong analytical ability to drive earnings growth, expense efficiency, and return on capital.
• Experience advising CEOs, Boards, and investment committees on financial matters.
