Associate / Senior – Accounting & Reporting Assurance (Shenzhen/Guangzhou)

About the role

Deloitte’s Accounting & Reporting Assurance team is seeking motivated professionals to help clients navigate complex financial transformations. You will work on high‑impact projects in Shenzhen and Guangzhou, delivering data‑driven insights and modern operating models.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client business processes, data maturity and architecture to uncover insights and pain‑points.
• Drive project deliverables, ensuring a superior client experience.
• Design modern operating models that streamline operations and align with core strategy.
• Develop digital planning roadmaps, including business cases and change‑management strategies.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews with senior client leadership.
• Support project management through status reporting and proactive risk mitigation.
• Contribute to business development by researching and drafting proposal content.
• Present compelling, data‑driven cases with clear, concise messaging.
• Collaborate with diverse teams and clients to achieve project goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
• Preferably a finance‑related professional qualification or certification in digitalisation/AI.
• Minimum three years of experience delivering professional services at a global consulting firm.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with a commitment to quality.
• Team player able to foster a high‑performing, continuous‑improvement environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and lead teams.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (technical and business writing, presentations).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel and work in client‑facing settings.
