WordPress Layout Builder / Site Designer – 3‑Month Remote Project

About the role

We are looking for a WordPress Layout Builder / Site Designer to translate prepared content into polished, on‑brand pages across multiple WordPress multisite properties. This is a three‑month remote project focused on production‑level page assembly rather than visual design from scratch.

Key responsibilities

• Build pages on several WordPress sites using the block‑based editor and custom block library.
• Convert organized copy and images into consistent, responsive layouts that follow brand guidelines.
• Maintain styling consistency across a high volume of pages and verify rendering on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Identify gaps where existing blocks do not meet layout needs and flag them to the client team.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, gather feedback, and iterate on pages.
• Track progress in the project ticket management tool.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience creating production pages with WordPress block editors (Gutenberg, Layout Builder, Elementor, etc.).
• Strong eye for spacing, typography, visual hierarchy, and responsive behavior.
• Ability to work independently with organized content and meet deadlines without daily supervision.
• Excellent English communication skills for regular calls with non‑technical staff.
• Comfortable working in the Pacific time zone with substantial daily overlap.
