Trade Marketing Coordinator

About the role

Santo Domingo Motors is seeking a Trade Marketing Coordinator to strengthen the brand’s presence across the Dominican Republic. You will be responsible for planning and executing trade marketing initiatives that drive visibility and sales at dealers, points of sale, fairs, events, and other commercial spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Implement trade marketing strategies at dealers and retail locations.
• Coordinate installation and maintenance of POP materials, banners, displays, signage, and promotional assets.
• Conduct regular visits to verify correct execution of campaigns and brand image.
• Organize activations, test drives, launches, inaugurations, fairs, and promotions.
• Manage relationships with printers, installers, logistics providers, promoters, sound technicians, stand builders, and event producers.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop actions that boost sales.
• Identify improvement opportunities at points of sale and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare reports on visits, activations, campaigns, and detected opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications, Commercial Engineering, Business or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in trade marketing, point‑of‑sale marketing, brand activations, events, retail or fast‑moving consumer goods.
• Proven experience coordinating suppliers, POP materials, fairs, launches or commercial activations.
• Ability to travel nationwide and conduct on‑site visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for budgeting and reporting.
