Tooling Engineer II – Medical Device Manufacturing

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Tooling Engineer II to support tooling‑related projects that ensure manufacturing continuity and operational efficiency in a medical device environment. The role involves managing change control, validation, and supplier quality activities while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement industrial machinery, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and prototype models for production use.
• Utilize CAD/CAM software to create detailed tool designs.
• Manage change control processes, validation activities, and PPAP documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to address quality changes and ensure compliance.
• Maintain documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
