About the role

KAYA Energy Group is seeking a Solar Panels Technician to join its Engineering & Operations team. The role involves hands‑on work in the field, supporting the installation, maintenance and technical support of solar energy systems across residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission solar panel systems on site.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Provide on‑site technical support under the guidance of the Site Supervisor.
• Work on projects of varying scale, from residential rooftops to large industrial installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while working at height and outdoors.

Required profile

• Complete secondary education.
• Technical training in electricity, electromechanics, solar energy, refrigeration, construction or related fields.
• Practical experience in solar panel installation, electrical work, construction or technical maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electricity and proficiency with hand tools.
• Ability to read basic plans or diagrams (preferred).
• Willingness to travel, work flexible site schedules and follow detailed technical procedures.
• Team‑oriented attitude with a strong focus on safety.
