Subgerente Mi Negocio – Santo Domingo

About the role

The Subgerente Mi Negocio will manage and grow a portfolio of small‑business clients for the bank in Santo Domingo. The role combines client advisory, credit analysis, and sales of financial products to meet both client needs and the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the assigned client portfolio through acquisition, retention, and reactivation.
• Analyze credit applications and propose financing solutions in line with bank policies.
• Provide personalized financial advice and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Conduct regular client visits and contact programs to strengthen relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Promote and sell the institution’s financial products, contributing to commercial targets.
• Update client files, signatures, and legal documentation.
• Monitor loan performance and ensure timely fulfillment of client obligations.
• Prepare collection reports, overdraft and account plans, and manage portfolio administration.
• Authorize transactions within set limits while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory policies.
• Assist in supervising and administratively managing Business Center staff when required.
• Maintain high service standards to build long‑term client relationships.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Banking Management, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial, sales, customer service or portfolio management within the financial sector.
• Basic knowledge of banking and finance.
• Basic English proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using the B2000 banking system.
