Sr Project Engineer

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to provide technical and sustaining engineering support within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on improving equipment, processes, and production yields for existing medical device products while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area.
• Recommend and implement equipment and process modifications to meet quality standards and improve efficiency.
• Integrate equipment and material capabilities to achieve target specifications.
• Review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods.
• Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure process‑design alignment.
• Lead innovation, development, and optimization of new manufacturing concepts and procedures.
• Develop manufacturing processes suitable for statistical process control and measurement systems.
• Ensure all processes and procedures comply with relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Seasoned individual contributor capable of working independently with limited supervision.
• Experience mentoring or reviewing work of lower‑level specialists.
• Proven ability to manage entire projects or processes within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for complex technical challenges.
