Senior Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Senior Supply Chain Manager leads the site’s supply chain function, setting strategic direction, developing business plans and allocating resources to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence. This role partners with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Customer Operations leadership to solve complex problems and act as the site‑based customer champion.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership to managers, supervisors and professional staff, driving innovative solutions to complex technical and operational challenges.
• Execute supply‑chain strategies, set policies and allocate resources to achieve business results, including sales, inventory and operations planning.
• Monitor master schedules, coordinate S&OP efforts and manage monthly inventory projections, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Establish production schedules, SOPs and PFEP (Plan for Every Part) implementation to maintain optimal material flow and inventory levels.
• Maintain accurate Item Master Data in Oracle ERP and oversee the purchasing execution process, linking the site to corporate sourcing for supplier escalations and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Act as liaison between operations and customer service to ensure accurate orders and on‑time delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in operations or supply chain management, preferably in medical device manufacturing.
• APICS certification preferred and strong knowledge of material pull systems, 5S, lean materials management and S&OP processes.
