Senior Ruby on Rails Developer (Remote)

About the role

INDI is looking for a senior Ruby on Rails developer to join its distributed development team. You will work on a variety of web and mobile projects, collaborating with multicultural teams to deliver high‑quality user experiences. This is a fully remote position that offers flexibility and the chance to grow within a fast‑moving company.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop modern web applications for mobile and desktop devices with responsive layouts.
• Participate in all phases of the systems engineering process, from planning to testing.
• Write clean, maintainable code and ensure consistency across the product.
• Document code and create technical documentation for design and implementation.
• Work independently to deliver tasks efficiently without constant supervision.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• 6+ years of overall software engineering experience.
• Strong front‑end knowledge (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and experience with frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Proactive, team‑oriented, and passionate about delivering the best user experience.
