Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Engineering Platform Team of a leading global automotive services company. You will work on GitHub Enterprise, developer automation, cloud infrastructure and secure engineering enablement, driving AI‑assisted best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable GitHub Actions.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Contribute to DevSecOps, security, compliance and operational excellence.
• Apply AI development standards using Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Support fellow engineers through design discussions and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum Master on planning and delivery.
• Participate in production support and continuous platform improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of software or platform engineering experience.
• Strong ownership and ability to drive tasks to completion independently.
• Solid proficiency in Python.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitHub Enterprise and CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in Infrastructure as Code, Docker and Linux.
• Competency in DevSecOps, operating production services and security tooling (SonarQube, CodeQL, Veracode).
• Familiarity with PagerDuty for incident response.
• Daily use of Claude Code and/or GitHub Copilot.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, LLM fundamentals and AI‑assisted software development.
• Strong written documentation skills.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency (B2) or higher.
