Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to design and optimize manufacturing processes and plant layouts for medical device production. The role involves creating efficient equipment installations, machining, material handling, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining, and material handling.
• Develop plant equipment arrangements to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Integrate inspection and test requirements into production plans and verify machinery performance.
• Apply statistical process control techniques and guide engineering on design concepts and specifications.

Required profile

• Baccalaureate degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 2 years, or PhD with no experience required.
• Ability to work independently, coach lower‑level specialists, and manage projects or processes.
