Senior Backend Developer - Node.js & Camunda

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance services using Node.js and Camunda. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem‑solving abilities, and the capacity to work across microservices, workflows, messaging systems, APIs, and databases in a fast‑paced enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and microservices with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and support REST and GraphQL APIs and system integrations.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Camunda BPM workflows.
• Investigate and resolve failed or stuck workflows, workers, incidents, and process execution issues.
• Develop and debug messaging integrations using RabbitMQ and Azure Service Bus.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of production incidents across APIs, microservices, queues, databases, and external integrations.
• Work with Git and GitLab for branching, merging, cherry‑picking, rebasing, conflict resolution, and release/hot‑fix activities.
• Understand and troubleshoot existing Java/Spring Boot services.
• Participate in code reviews, deployments, production support, and critical incident resolution.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, infrastructure, QA, integration, and other technical teams.
• Handle Oracle structural databases as part of backend data management.

• Proven ability to investigate complex, cross‑system issues and deliver permanent technical solutions.
• Strong collaborative mindset and experience working with multidisciplinary technical teams.
