About the role

INDI is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to create custom themes, plugins, and integrations for enterprise‑level web solutions. This fully remote position focuses on transforming WordPress into a robust CMS that supports complex business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch using PHP.
• Implement and customize WooCommerce to build scalable e‑commerce solutions.
• Create rich, interactive layouts with the Gutenberg block editor.
• Integrate WordPress with third‑party APIs and enterprise systems.
• Optimize website performance, security, and SEO throughout the development lifecycle.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing WordPress installations to ensure maximum uptime.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on WordPress development or web engineering experience.
• Proven ability to build custom themes and plugins from the ground up.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and Gutenberg block development.
• Practical experience with WooCommerce for e‑commerce projects.
• Understanding of extending WordPress for enterprise‑grade applications.
• Advanced level of English.
