About the role
This position manages multiple ocean‑related tasks while delivering excellent customer service within UPS Supply Chain Solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling proactive and reactive communications.
- Process ocean shipment orders, review quotes/rates, audit performance and resolve operational issues.
- Interface with external carriers and vendors to maximize service levels.
- Train new hires and act as a mentor for the team.
- Support export/import compliance and regulatory responsibilities.
Required profile
- Minimum one year of customer service experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical and problem‑resolution abilities.
Required skills
- Extensive understanding of ocean transportation regulations and freight forwarding.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
