Maritime Field Service Representative

About the role

CACI is seeking a Maritime Field Service Representative to support maritime assessments and capability development with Dominican Republic military and security partners. The role focuses on evaluating vessels, engines, communications, fuel systems and related infrastructure to identify deficiencies and recommend sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site assessments of boats, marine engines, trailers, communications, navigation and fuel systems.
• Document equipment condition, capability gaps and provide repair‑versus‑replacement recommendations.
• Research local vendors, develop cost comparisons, ROM estimates, Bills of Material and Scopes of Work.
• Prepare procurement recommendations and support contracting, delivery, installation and fielding of approved solutions.
• Assess local logistics, customs, security and transportation constraints affecting execution.
• Coordinate with DOMREP partners, U.S. Government personnel, SOUTHCOM stakeholders and local vendors to maintain timelines.

Required profile

• Demonstrated maritime experience with small boats, marine engines, maintenance or logistics.
• Proven ability to conduct technical assessments and produce cost estimates, vendor comparisons and schedules.
• Strong analytical skills to translate field observations into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with host‑nation partners and U.S. stakeholders.
