Lead Security Engineer – Kubernetes (Remote)

About the role

As a Lead Security Engineer specializing in Kubernetes, you will shape the security architecture of our containerized cloud environments. You will ensure robust protection, drive compliance, and mentor engineering teams to adopt secure infrastructure practices.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the security accreditation architecture for highly secure cloud environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain security controls and policies for container orchestration platforms and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and security awareness.
• Drive cross‑functional compliance and governance initiatives to meet industry and regulatory standards.
• Automate security verification and integration within the deployment lifecycle for continuous compliance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Cloud Security, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes security and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Helm.
• Solid experience with AWS, EKS, and CI/CD automation tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience leading security accreditation architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
