Key Account Manager – Food Service (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Key Account Manager – Food Service is responsible for driving new business opportunities and sustainable growth across assigned markets. You will lead commercial strategies, manage key accounts, and work closely with major end users to achieve volume, profit and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to grow the food‑service business.
• Lead, coach and motivate Sales Executives or Field Operations Specialists to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Manage and expand relationships with Major End Users, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Analyse distributor sell‑out performance and inventory to optimise route‑to‑market strategies.
• Plan and execute regular market visits (30‑50% of time) and coordinate weekly planning activities.
• Prepare and present Quarterly Business Reviews and annual Kick‑Off meetings with cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor competitor pricing, manage distributor inventory, and maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with the Regional Manager on financial analysis, gross profit by category and account performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing key accounts and sales teams in the food‑service channel.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop and execute growth strategies.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills with major end users and distributors.
• Analytical mindset for financial and inventory analysis.
• Willingness to travel 30‑50% of the time for market visits and client meetings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce.
