IT Service Desk Engineer (Junior)

About the role

GBH is seeking a Junior IT Service Desk Engineer to ensure the integrity of information associated with assigned cases and to meet customer expectations through expert technical assistance. You will work autonomously on support tickets, network issues, and project tasks while collaborating with a diverse ServiceDesk team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide user support for hardware and software failures.
• Install and configure physical peripherals and software applications.
• Install, reinstall, and maintain operating systems and user programs.
• Perform preventive physical maintenance on user equipment.
• Assist with monitoring client equipment via administration platforms.
• Collect equipment information on‑site and suggest improvements.
• Generate physical reports for on‑site assistance cases.
• Create, document, and close tickets while maintaining SLA targets.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective task management and multitasking.
• Advanced English proficiency (highly desirable).
• Graduate or senior student in IT, Network Technology, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience providing technical assistance.

Required skills

• Basic network configuration on user equipment.
• Familiarity with equipment monitoring and ticketing platforms.
• Remote assistance platform management.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Skype.
