Head of QPPV Network & PV Governance

About the role

This senior position leads the QPPV Network and Pharmacovigilance (PV) Governance function for a leading pharmacovigilance provider. Working remotely, you will shape PV strategy, ensure compliance across EU/EAEU markets and maintain inspection readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Provide line management and leadership to the QPPV Network and PV Governance team.
• Own the PV Quality Management System, including SOPs, audits and CAPA management.
• Ensure compliant delivery of regional QPPV and local PV services across EU/EAEU markets.
• Act as the primary PV contact for Competent Authorities and represent clients during audits and inspections.
• Manage and qualify a network of local PV expert vendors.
• Contribute PV expertise to business proposals and client relationships.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (M.D., Pharmacy, Life Sciences or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of pharmacovigilance experience, including at least 3 years in a senior compliance function.
• In‑depth knowledge of EU and global/local PV legislation, including GVP Modules I–XV.
• Proven ability to lead teams and complex quality/compliance systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English with confidence in regulatory authority communication.
