About the role

The Strategic Projects Manager will ensure proper governance and progress of the country’s strategic project portfolio. This role consolidates portfolio status, performance, risks and key blockers while promoting standardized methodologies, tools and best practices across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an up‑to‑date portfolio of strategic projects, providing visibility on milestones, deliverables, owners, commitments, risks, deviations and next steps.
• Monitor project performance, flagging deviations and risks of non‑compliance in a timely manner.
• Prioritize tracking of high‑impact projects aligned with strategic objectives and business performance gaps.
• Identify and help resolve risks, dependencies, bottlenecks and constraints, coordinating with involved areas and escalating when needed.
• Provide standardized methodologies, tools, templates and best practices to project leaders and owners.
• Support project leaders in building schedules, risk registers, action plans, monitoring mechanisms and executive reports.
• Ensure adherence to the strategic project governance model, suggest improvements and promote adoption.
• Generate executive views of portfolio status to aid decision‑making by senior management and governance committees.
• Track corrective actions for projects with deviations, verify implementation and escalate critical issues.
• Lead specific projects when assigned, overseeing planning, coordination, monitoring and closure.

Required profile

• Final‑year student or graduate in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields.
• Approximately 3 years of recent experience in project monitoring within fast‑moving consumer goods, pharmaceutical or similar companies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Smartsheet.
• Strong command of Office 365 suite.
• Experience using SAP or comparable enterprise systems.
