About the role

The Operations & Real Estate Manager will support Scotia GBS by ensuring that physical infrastructure, security, asset management, and business continuity initiatives are executed efficiently. This role focuses on cost‑saving strategies, compliance with regulations, and delivering high‑quality support services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a customer‑centric ambassador, strengthening client relationships and leveraging bank resources.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities across operations and projects.
• Manage support service contracts such as catering, transportation, security, mail, pest control, HVAC, fire suppression, and internal infrastructure.
• Coordinate real‑estate activities, including property research, recommendations, and liaison with project managers, owners, and vendors.
• Oversee design and improvement projects to ensure compliance with local standards.
• Develop and monitor facility‑management indicators and support policy creation for GBS operations.
