About the role
The Warehouse Manager will lead the comprehensive management of the organization’s warehouses, ensuring proper handling, storage, control, and distribution of spare parts, accessories, lubricants, materials and other products across all branches. The role guarantees inventory availability and compliance with established procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate operations of warehouses in multiple branches.
- Ensure accurate receipt, identification, storage, dispatch and distribution of goods.
- Design and maintain standardized operating procedures for warehouse activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and guarantee timely availability of parts and materials.
- Plan and control physical, cyclic and general inventories.
- Analyze inventory variances, investigate causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain proper organization, classification, location and preservation of products.
- Oversee entry and exit processes in the inventory system.
- Coordinate distribution of parts and materials among branches.
- Implement controls to minimize losses, damage, obsolescence and inventory differences.
- Track high‑ and low‑turnover items, identifying optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Service, Sales, Finance and other areas for supply needs.
- Ensure service level compliance and dispatch times.
- Prepare and analyze reports on inventory movements, rotation, shortages and surpluses.
- Monitor warehouse performance indicators and present results to management.
- Enforce safety, order and cleanliness standards in facilities.
- Lead, develop and discipline warehouse staff, fostering productivity and teamwork.
- Conduct periodic visits to branches to validate operations and standards.
- Identify improvement opportunities to optimize costs, space and logistics processes.
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive or special‑characteristic products according to company procedures.
Required profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related fields.
- Additional training or certifications in Inventory Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or Warehousing is a plus.
- Five or more years of experience in warehouse, inventory or logistics management.
- Proven experience leading teams.
- Experience managing multiple warehouses or distribution centers.
- Preferably experience in the automotive, spare‑parts, dealership or parts distribution sector.
- Experience handling high‑volume inventories with a wide variety of references.
