Ex-MBB Strategy Consultant - AI Training (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced former MBB strategy consultant to help shape the next generation of AI systems. In this remote, project‑based position you will translate real consulting engagements into structured learning environments that train large language models to reason like senior consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Design realistic consulting project scenarios, including industry context, financial data, constraints and ambiguous inputs.
• Break each scenario into discrete, AI‑compatible tasks such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimisation, growth strategy and operational diagnosis.
• Develop grading frameworks, evaluation rubrics and golden‑answer solutions to benchmark AI outputs at scale.
• Collaborate with the AI engineering team to integrate the tasks and evaluation criteria into the training pipeline.
• Maintain high‑quality documentation of all scenarios and task specifications.

Required profile

• 3 + years of hands‑on consulting experience at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney or Strategy&.
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous client problems into analytical work‑plans.
• Experience building financial models, market analyses and synthesising findings from messy data.
• Track record of delivering client‑ready presentations under tight deadlines and defending recommendations in uncertain environments.
