About the role

The Fixed Plant Maintenance Trainer will design, deliver and evaluate technical training programs for the Fixed Plant Maintenance department. The role also covers safety and health training to ensure a competent, safe and productive workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled monthly trainings, aligned with individual development plans.
• Conduct competency assessments and report on program effectiveness.
• Analyze training matrices with supervisors to identify learning needs and create individual training plans.
• Perform continuous inspections of safety and environmental aspects of training activities.
• Advise on the creation and update of skill and competency cards for each position.
• Collaborate with recruitment to administer technical theory‑practical assessments for new hires.
• Support shift supervisors in performance evaluation based on demonstrated competencies.

Required profile

• Graduate in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Mechanical Technician.
• Qualified in adult education and training methodologies.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• 4‑5 years experience as a fixed‑plant maintenance technician.
• 2‑3 years experience in mechanical plant training, supervision or development roles.
