Engineering Assistant

About the role

The Engineering Assistant will support engineers and supervisors in data collection, analysis, and project execution within a manufacturing environment. This position ensures procedures run smoothly, maintains up‑to‑date documentation, and prepares various reports.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily reports and verify the material identification process.
• Assist Green Belt teams on Six Sigma projects, performing time‑and‑motion studies, MSA, and process capability analyses.
• Support the preparation of man‑load calculations, capacity analyses, and work‑method studies.
• Help create and maintain 8D analyses, Lean/EQS/MESH/PBA/PROLAUNCH tools, work instructions, control plans, PFMEA, and process flow diagrams.
• Contribute to cost‑reduction initiatives and manage non‑conforming (scrap) product control.
• Measure and report materials that fall outside tolerance limits.
• Participate in all assigned health, safety, and environmental training and comply with 5S/MESH standards.

Required profile

• University student in Engineering or Business Administration with at least 120 approved credits.
• Minimum six months experience in manufacturing or operational support.
• Basic proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
