About the role
The cooperative is seeking an accountant to handle payroll updates, member savings modifications, and loan discount processing. The role involves close collaboration with the payroll and accounts‑receivable departments and providing advisory support to cooperative members.
Key responsibilities
- Send updates to the payroll department regarding member income, departures, and savings changes for discount purposes.
- Provide the accounts‑receivable department with lists of new loans to discount and loans to deschedule due to balance adjustments.
- Apply discounts on savings and loans to members through the payroll system.
- Offer advisory assistance to members on financial matters related to their accounts.
Required profile
- Relevant education in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in payroll processing and loan accounting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills for member interaction.
