Cajero – La Vega

About the role

The bank is looking for a diligent cashier (cajero) to provide front‑line service to customers in La Vega. You will handle daily cash operations, currency exchanges and support clients with a range of banking transactions while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Open the cash desk each day using the previous day's cash balance.
• Buy and sell foreign currencies at the counter.
• Process check exchanges and client withdrawals.
• Execute transfers and currency conversions (pesos and dollars) to client accounts.
• Record client signatures when opening new accounts.
• Pack and seal remittance shipments.
• Follow all quality‑assurance, cybersecurity, and AML/CTF policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Student of Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of computer equipment.
• At least one year of experience in a similar cash‑handling role.
• Strong confidentiality, organization, attention to detail and service orientation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate proactivity.
