Buyer / Planner – Supply Chain

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Buyer / Planner to support its Supply Chain organization. The role will manage material planning and procurement activities to ensure uninterrupted supply for manufacturing and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own assigned commodities, suppliers and material portfolios, managing purchase requisitions and orders.
• Monitor supply and demand, identify shortages, capacity constraints and mitigate supply risks.
• Analyze inventory trends to support optimization while maintaining service levels.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve material availability issues and expedite critical shipments.
• Maintain accurate master data and transactional records in ERP systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and inventory performance.

Required profile

• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple activities and make data‑driven decisions.

Required skills

• SAP and other ERP systems.
• Demand and supply planning processes.
• Supplier relationship management.
