Buyer III – Procurement Specialist

About the role

As a Buyer III at Integer Holdings, you will lead the procurement process to secure goods and services efficiently and cost‑effectively. You will drive strategic initiatives that optimise the supply chain, support inventory management and contribute directly to the company’s financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and apply standard purchasing techniques with minimal supervision.
• Place, cancel and reschedule purchase orders based on demand, design changes and supplier updates.
• Request and assess supplier quotes to meet cost, delivery, quality and specification targets.
• Analyse, report and forecast purchase price variance.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process for purchases and standard costing.
• Maintain material flow, ensuring raw material import, receipt, inspection and release.
• Forecast and manage inventory levels to optimise availability and working capital.
• Report supplier performance and trigger corrective actions via the Supplier Quality Management system.
• Develop cost‑reduction initiatives and identify savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with Quality to resolve corrective actions, non‑conforming material and returns to vendor.
• Load new suppliers and update existing ones in the ERP system.
• Work with Finance to resolve accounting, payment terms and AP holds.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently while adhering to company policies, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical skills for price variance, budgeting and inventory forecasting.
• Effective communication and collaboration with Quality, Finance and supply‑chain teams.
• Judgment to adapt purchasing procedures and specifications as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for supplier management and order processing.
