Business Developer Engineer

About the role

The Business Developer Engineer supports TotalEnergies Lubricants in expanding its industrial lubricant solutions across the Caribbean market. Combining technical expertise with commercial acumen, the role drives growth in priority segments such as power generation, mining, food & sugar, and cement.

Key responsibilities

• Support Sales and Technical teams in identifying and developing target market segments.
• Matrix‑manage cross‑functional teams to define customer needs and create value‑added lubrication proposals.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders including customers, service providers, and equipment manufacturers.
• Develop and present technical and service proposals, including bath monitoring and field‑trial plans.
• Conduct lubrication audits, propose optimization solutions, and monitor performance improvements.
• Define, implement, and track field trials, ensuring validation of results.
• Assist fluid‑management activities and interpret diagnostic data to guarantee optimal lubricant performance.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of industrial lubrication needs and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with customers in sectors such as power generation, mining, food processing, or cement.
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and build long‑term relationships with internal and external partners.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on measurable performance and maintenance improvements.
