B2B Marketing & Business Communications Consultant (Remote)

About the role

IDB Invest seeks a B2B Marketing & Business Communications Consultant to support its Business Planning team in positioning the institution across key industries in Latin America and the Caribbean. The consultant will enhance the visibility of transactions, events, and award‑worthy achievements, contributing to client engagement and partner attraction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide communications support for business transactions, crafting tailored messaging that highlights financial innovation and development impact.
• Maintain an inventory of high‑profile awards, support applications, track outcomes, and build a knowledge base for future submissions.
• Coordinate business events, managing agendas, logistics, invitations, vendors, and stakeholder engagement, and produce post‑event reports.
• Maintain accurate stakeholder contact records and update event‑related information before and after each event.
• Assist with marketing campaigns and content initiatives that reinforce IDB Invest’s positioning in the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, International Relations or related field; additional certifications in B2B marketing or event management are a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B marketing and communications, preferably within multilaterals, development banks or large corporations.
• Proven ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders and produce clear, compelling content in English and Spanish.
• Understanding of private‑sector‑led development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
