Auditor II

About the role

The Auditor II will support the bank’s risk management framework by performing operational, financial and compliance audits across the institution’s branches. The role involves preparing clear audit reports and monitoring the implementation of corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct operational, financial and compliance audits according to the annual audit plan.
• Visit assigned branches to assess processes, controls and adherence to regulations.
• Prepare detailed audit reports that document findings, conclusions and recommendations.
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and report on progress.
• Collaborate with audit teams and other business units to ensure audit objectives are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in internal or external audit within a multiple‑banking environment.
• Strong knowledge of anti‑money‑laundering and counter‑terrorism financing regulations.
• Strategic thinking, analytical ability and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.
• Experience using core banking and other banking systems.
• Ability to draft technical audit reports.
• Knowledge of AML/CTF (PLA/FT) compliance requirements.
