About the role

The Shift Assistant at the Nagua service station supports the Station Manager in ensuring efficient operations, safety compliance, and excellent customer service. This onsite role involves overseeing fuel handling, inventory control, and staff coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Station Manager in implementing operational controls and safety procedures according to the Service Station and Store Manual.
• Conduct HSE program dissemination and training drills with all personnel.
• Monitor fuel and lubricant inventories (Total brand), manage tank measurements, and ensure timely product deliveries.
• Supervise fuel unloading, preventing overfills or contamination, and verify compliance with operational manuals.
• Oversee cash handling, reconciliation with service representatives, and maintain accurate sales and purchase records.
• Inspect and report equipment status, coordinate repairs, and supervise external contractors.
• Handle customer complaints and suggestions, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Participate in recruitment, staff administration, and performance evaluation.
• Support HACCP compliance in the store, conduct inspections, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Manage administrative tasks such as invoice registration, checklist completion, and product receipt.

Required profile

• Experience in service station or retail store operations.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate with contractors.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory and documentation control.
