Architect – Interior Architecture

About the role

As an Architect specializing in interior architecture at Gensler, you will work alongside architects and interior designers to create design solutions and guide projects from concept through construction administration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and plan complex interior architectural projects across various typologies.
• Lead all design phases, from schematic design to construction documentation and administration.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants (MEP, structural, lighting, AV, landscape, civil), contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Produce BIM models and construction drawings using Revit.
• Resolve technical and design challenges to deliver constructible solutions.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to office culture and initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture.
• 5+ years of commercial interior architectural design experience.
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary consultants and manage full project lifecycles.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication.
• Leadership, relationship‑building, and emotional‑intelligence skills.
