Abogado – Apoyo Legal Corporativo

About the role

The company seeks a qualified lawyer to provide legal support across a range of corporate activities. Working under the direct supervision of the Legal Consulting Leader, the lawyer will analyse daily legal issues, advise internal teams, and help develop strategies that ensure regulatory compliance and protect the organization from legal and regulatory risks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice in commercial, insurance, and corporate law matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with regulations issued by the Superintendence of Insurance and Pensions.
• Monitor and interpret changes in pension fund regulations and related compliance requirements.
• Manage legal risk, support dispute resolution, and contribute to the creation of legal strategies.
• Liaise with insurers, regulators, and other external parties as needed.

Required profile

• Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho) with a specialization or master’s in Corporate Law, Financial Law, Insurance Law or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in similar legal positions.
• Strong knowledge of commercial law, insurance law, corporate law, contract law, pension fund regulations and compliance.
• Familiarity with the regulatory framework of the Superintendence of Insurance and Pensions.
• Experience in legal risk management and dispute resolution.
• Proficiency in English is desirable.
