Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer specialized in Kubernetes to join a U.S. client’s remote development team. You will work closely with designers and engineers, delivering reliable, automated infrastructure for containerized applications across cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters for production workloads.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts for service lifecycle management.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting using Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools.
• Configure DNS architecture, email routing (SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and secure communication (PKI, TLS).
• Develop data‑transformation, web‑scraping, or content‑generation pipelines as needed.
• Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to resolve complex technical issues and contribute to shared libraries.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote, project‑based environment.

Required skills

• Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Infrastructure automation and CI/CD tools.
• Grafana, Prometheus (monitoring/observability).
• DNS architecture, authoritative DNS servers, zone delegation.
• Email infrastructure: SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
• Programming languages: Go, Python, Java.
• Linux systems, networking, PKI, TLS certificates.
• Experience with self‑hosted open‑source platforms and internet‑facing services.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, red‑team infrastructure, or security simulation platforms (highly desirable).
