Associate Buyer/Planner

About the role

Medtronic is seeking an Associate Buyer/Planner to support the procurement and movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods across its manufacturing operations. The role will work closely with engineering, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely, cost‑effective sourcing that meets quality and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Source, purchase, plan, and schedule the flow of raw materials, packaging, parts, components, services, supplies, and finished goods.
• Identify material and component requirements from engineering and production specifications and create appropriate schedules.
• Analyze price data, evaluate cost drivers, and select the lowest‑cost options while maintaining quality, reliability, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and engineering personnel to align procurement activities with manufacturing needs.
• Monitor price trends, manufacturing processes, and supplier performance; assist with demand‑analysis planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make cost‑effective decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Entry‑level candidate; no prior experience required.
